Description John T. Folden 2011-04-27 21:40:10 UTC
I am running Fedora 15 beta and just performed a software update that upgraded me from Gnome Shell 3.0.0 to 3.0.1, installed a couple additional apps, and am now seeing random duplicate icons in the application listing.

Steps to reproduce: I installed a number of applications (Banshee, Epiphany, etc..) via Package Manager for GNOME.

Actual result:
Random application icons were duplicated - two Calculators, two icons for gedit, etc... after a reboot there may be duplicates of other icons instead.

Expected Result: seeing only one icon for each application installed.

Additional Info: After seeing the bug on a fresh install the first time, I re-formatted the drive and reinstalled/updated the OS again and was able to duplicate the above issue.
