I'm getting the exact same message from evince 3.0.0-4 (from Arch linux x686) using poppler 0.16.5-1.  All I need do is open a PDF (such as the one which can be downloaded from www.oca.org/news/2543) and close it (and then close the icewm or xfce4 window manager).  I see that this bug appears to be a duplicate of 587583 and that this seems to be a four-year-old issue.

Addendum: the error message comes from line 1516 in evince 3.0.0-4.
