Bugzilla would not copy all of the debug. The text shows everything.

Default compiler setting. Perl-5.12, Python 2.7, application rebuilt with WITH_DEBUG=yes.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols for mutter and glib2? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so and reopen this bug or report a new one. Thanks in advance!

What it is looking for is NetworkManager. Unfortunately, there is no --with-distro=none as an option when building Network Manger.
 Just looked at the FreeBSD notes and they are looking for someone to fix this error.

Because the non-Linux people don't contribute enough fixes to support their platforms, obviously.

I'm here and trying to build the application.
I've added WITH_DEBUG=yes to another build, set the gir directory properly.
How to properly patch, I don't know. I go through the configure file and sometimes the Makefile in work/$SRC to fix what I can.
If the others won't ask, I will and at least to get it working on my machine.

Now, if you need anything specific or some exact gdb set of commands to be run, then tell me.

You would need someone with similar equipment to build in this order:

Use Whitehorn's bsdinstall iso or Marius's 9 iso.
Install.
Csup ports.
Csup source.
Set python to 2.7
Install python 27.
Install perl5.12
Build world.
Configure kernel to not use debugging.
Build kernel.
Install kernel.
Reboot.
Make index in ports.
Install Xorg, xorg-server.
Setup Xorg with /usr/local/bin/Xorg -configure -retro.
Adjust everything: monitor, vert, horiz, card frequency if needed, Modes, defaultdepth if needed.
Go to marcuscom.com
Ccs marcusports.
Marcusmerge.

Startx and start building gnome3.

You'll need to reference the gentoo sparc64 docs if your card isn't set as the default.

AFAIK, I'm the only one building gnome3 on sparc64 and ppc32; however, I'm not the only one using the platforms on FreeBSD.

Please, just try this to narrow down the problem:

$ gjs
gjs> const C = imports.gi.Clutter;
gjs> a = new C.ActorBox();

Does that work?

$ gjs
gjs> const C = imports.gi.Clutter;
typein:1: strict warning: reference to undefined property imports.gi
(repeats four more times)
typein:1: strict warning: reference to undefined property imports.gi
gjs> a = new C.ActorBox();
typein:2: strict warning: assignment to undeclared variable a
[object _private_Clutter_ActorBox]

(CTRL + C is needed here to quit the program)


Okay, I added the INTROSPECTION_GIRDIR to clutter and json-glib and rebuilding both now.

Same results.

There is no imports.gi in any directory. 

How would I set it?

No, disregard that. I just wanted to make sure the basics of gjs being able to call C functions through gobject-introspection were working, which according to your comment 16 does work. At this point I can't help you any more, sorry.

Has the same problem occurred on gentoo sparc64 or debian sparc(64)?
If it hasn't and the files were created, may I look at them?

Either your Clutter build, your introspection build, or your gjs build are broken.
