Description hsli 2011-04-20 07:38:33 UTC
The latest version for Windows can't play rmvb file. I tested the new GStreamer under Windows XP, and found it can play the most video files except for rmvb or rm format, even I installed Real Alternative Lite. When GStreamer play rmvb files, screen is blank and don't give any error. I think GStreamer lacks some codecs for playing rmvb file.

Could you make such a file available, or give us a link to it?

About real alternative lite, you can download it from the website http://www.free-codecs.com/download/real_alternative_lite.htm.

I was asking for one of the media files you have trouble playing.

It is the rmvb file of the movie Inception, it's size is more than 1.3GB, too big, and I forgot the downloading site.I don't test more rmvb files with GStreamer, I think GStreamer can't play this format file, Is it true?
