>Description:
Immediately after login, before any application is started, gnome shows an error message box: Application "panel" (process 1239) has crashed due to a fatal error (segmentation fault). The application panel vanishes when closing the error box. 

Gnome has not been iinstalled from RedHat V.7.1 Installation CD (no customizations yet). 

>How-To-Repeat:
Login with Gnome (happend both under root and normal user id).
