What were you doing when the application crashed? The crash occurs at startup. I just upgraded to wheezy from squeeze. Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 645105 ***
It seems I sent this report prematurely. This bug was not a bug at all, but a botched GNOME install after I was fiddling around in the experimental repository. If this is a duplicate bug, it may be that the other person who encountered it did the same thing, so here's how I fixed it... 1. Remove the experimental repository from /etc/apt/sources.list 2. Uninstall the package libglib-2.0-0, which conveniently uninstalls all of the GNOME packages. 3. Reinstall the package 'gnome' After doing that, evolution worked again.
