I can confirm this fixes the issue as well as preventing godknowshowmany of the following warnings:
IA__gtk_entry_set_text: assertion `text != NULL' failed

(Just google for that warning, the first six or so hits are from gnome-nettool...)

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
