The current use of two comboboxes for region and city is decidedly suboptimal. They contain a large number of items, which makes using them extremely labour intensive. Often, people know the city they want, and the region combo is a unnecessary hurdle. 

In an early version of the design for this panel, we had a search box instead of these two comboboxes. See:

It would be really nice if we could move to that approach in the future.
