Description D.S. (Spider) Ljungmark 2011-04-07 21:56:59 UTC
Scenario: I drag a window, realise I want it on another workspace to do drag&drop operations between two other windows.

You cannot currently alt-tab while dragging a window. Neither can you press the super key and get a way to select it.
Neither does the hot corner work to drag it.

In order to change the desktop of a window, you have to first select the mode you wish to work in, by releasing the window, pressing super, and then dragging the window to where you want it. Then releasing the window again, clicking the workspace twice, And then dragging the window to where you wanted it.

I agree that selecting a mode to work in first may be logical and unixy in the "vi" like way, but I somehow doubt that VI is the software gnome-shell wants to emulate.
