Description Ildar 2011-04-07 17:04:09 UTC
I think users need to be able to run programs/scripts once an event happen.
E.g. I want to be able to restart fetchmail after reconnecting.

/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d has an 'up' event ('vpn-up' for VPNs) that you can catch with your custom script. Please reopen if you meant something else.

Also I see the component was nm-applet without any explanation of why you think it relates to the requested feature. Please specify your use case if reopening.
