Description Ionut Biru 2011-04-05 16:32:43 UTC
The applet does detect the connection and is labeled as Mobile Broadband.
Flipping the switch doesn't work.

There's a bunch of outstanding stuff - probably a duplicate of bug 646395 or bug 646706 or both.
Comment 2 Dan Winship 2011-04-05 17:10:41 UTC
you should be able to enable it by selecting the connection name underneath the Mobile Broadband header
Comment 3 Ionut Biru 2011-04-05 17:16:28 UTC
@Dan, clicking on Auto Broadband doesn't do anything and i don't have anything else.

I remember that in the past a wizard come up and asked about the provider etc

Yeah, there is currently a FIXME there. I discussed using nm-applet to provide the mobile wizard, but then nothing appeared there and nothing was added here.
Comment 9 Dan Williams 2011-05-03 19:48:33 UTC
See bug 649318 for a patch to fix that FIXME
Comment 10 Giovanni Campagna 2011-05-16 13:48:25 UTC
Related bug was fixed, closing this one as well.
