Description Ignacio Casal Quinteiro (nacho) 2011-04-04 17:06:05 UTC
Right now in the gedit filebrowser we are checking some schemas from nautilus that could maybe go in gsettings-desktop-schemas.

#define NAUTILUS_CLICK_POLICY_KEY	"click-policy"
#define NAUTILUS_ENABLE_DELETE_KEY	"enable-delete"
#define NAUTILUS_CONFIRM_TRASH_KEY	"confirm-trash"

The click-policy looks general purpose but maybe the others can go too.

Makes sense for 3.2.
Comment 2 Sebastien Bacher 2011-05-25 13:21:33 UTC
the issue leads to have file-roller depending on nautilus as well, see bug #649094, is somebody still working on making that happen for 3.2?
Comment 3 André Klapper 2021-06-18 15:29:08 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of Files (nautilus), then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
