Jamendo with banshee 1.9.6 crashed
Last modified: 2011-06-04 02:40:41 UTC
I had disabled for now this extension because it crashed with latest release of banshee 1.9.6 (Ubuntu Natty). I had disabled/I have disabled/, if you need more information please ask me.
Could you try deleting the following folder ? ~/.config/banshee-1/addin-db-001/ It contains cached information about the extensions used by Banshee. It might be confused by the recent banshee-1 -> banshee After deleting the folder, extension will revert to their default enabled/disabled state, so you'll probably have to re-enable the Jamendo extension.
Bertrand I did, but after delete that folder/reinstall jamendo/ banshee never detected the extension and is not listed under "extensions menu". running in a terminal doesn't get any information about it.
Apparently Ubuntu Natty only has banshee-community-extensions 1.9.3, which is probably not compatible with Banshee 1.9.6 due to that rename. Which version do you have ? The Jamendo extension from the daily PPA works fine for me.
Bertrand, right. I am currently using banshee-extension-jamendo 1.9.3-1ubuntu1 and seems to be not compatible with 1.9.6 release. let me check with daily ppa repository and I will give you a response, Victor
Victor, do you have any update for the bug ?
Please give me some time to check if this behaviour is still there with my latest banshee release (2.0)
Sorry for double posting, you can close this report because now is working fine with banshee 2.0.0-2ubuntu1 and extension-jamendo 2.0.0-1ubuntu1 (Ubuntu Natty Narwhal), Thanks!
