Description Marek 2011-04-03 13:32:46 UTC
When I click on my name, by default I get an option to suspend my computer, in order to get the "Power off" option, I need to hold ALT key. I would prefer to have there "Power off" option by default.

Why is that?

I do not need an option in the menu in order to suspend my laptop. Whenever I want or need to suspend it, I just close the lid. This is the most obvious thing to do - I am done with my tasks, I close my laptop, literally.

Then from time to time, I need to restart it manually or power it off, then I will go to the menu and look for a "Power off" button.

Look at mac's users - they don't suspend their macs using "Suspend" option from the menu, they just close the lid. Gnome 3 should follow the same, logical approach.
