Description Ilkka Tuohela 2001-11-15 14:45:39 UTC
When you go to a page which has latin-1 characters in the title,
for example http://www.yle.fi/ohjelmaopas/data/t02today.htm
(finnish tv program guide), the tab has only letter P in tab and
title, when correct string is 'Päivän ohjelmatiedot'.

I think this bug is related to bug #64472 (latin characters don't show
correctly in bookmarks). Probably this applies to other charsets as well
which are not US-ASCII.

actually this works for me as a bookmarks title when i am running
under fi_FI

sawfish on the other hand dislays "Pivn... , i.e. completely cutting
the accented chars

anyway...check the duplicate , this is a rather hairy problem
