Description Daniel Ellis 2011-03-30 21:11:37 UTC
When connecting to google talk using a Google Apps account, the following message is displayed:-

============================================================
The identity provided by the chat server cannot be verified.
The hostname verified by the certificate doesn't match the server name.
Expected hostname: example.com
Certificate hostname: talk.google.com
============================================================

Currently the hostname being passed to empathy-auth-client is the host part of the Login ID. If a server is specified in advanced settings, it should check against the certificate against the server address, not the login ID.
