Description Ionut Biru 2011-03-30 19:21:00 UTC
change the background to be transparent in gnome-terminal, maximize the window and notice that it is transparent, then unmaximize and notice that it loses transparency.

happens all the time in gnome-shell.
in fallback mode enable composition in metacity and transparency is there all the time. once you do mutter --replace in an unmaximized window, the background transparency is lost.

mutter: 2.91.93 but it was present before too.
