Description Martin Pitt 2011-03-30 08:42:09 UTC
Original bug: https://launchpad.net/bugs/696560

The time format shown at the login screen for locale pt-PT is wrong. It should show a 24-hour format instead of a 12-hour format. The Gnome Clock applet shows the correct format after login.

git formatted patch against master

jbatista submitted a patch against an older gdm, I ported it to current master git head.

The locales also confirm that Portugal uses 24 hour format:

    $ LANG=pt_PT.utf8 date
    Qua Mar 29 20:43:34 CEST 2011

OK to commit?

Hello,

I committed it.

I would like to thank you very much for moving this report from downstream to this bugzilla, where it can actually be dealt with!

Best regards,
