GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 646015
'options' isn't active when attempting to connect
Last modified: 2012-05-11 12:31:42 UTC
If you have a configuration for a seen AP, but with a bad WEP key (or similar), I should be able to fix it by selecting that network in the AP dropdown, and clicking on 'options'. However, I can't, because 'Options' isn't active until it actually connects. control-center-2.91.92-4.fc15.x86_64
This is also necessary for configuring, for example, a new connection that has defaulted to DHCP but for which the network being connected to has no DHCP server. In this situation one cannot configure a static IP for the connection without manually running nm-connection-editor.
