Description Bastien Nocera 2011-03-27 15:36:09 UTC
So it doesn't need to be reimplemented in all the applications with Python support. Right now copies exist in gedit and totem at least.
Comment 1 Bastien Nocera 2011-03-27 15:37:21 UTC
Notes from bug 645762, we'd want Ctrl+D to be handled properly, and tab-completion to work out of the box.
Comment 2 Ignacio Casal Quinteiro (nacho) 2011-03-27 15:44:24 UTC
I think there is some branch from gregier that should fix this, but not sure about the progress.
Comment 3 Philip Withnall 2011-03-27 16:57:19 UTC
Just to be clear, the gedit pythonconsole plugin has received a lot more love than the Totem one over the years, so any centralised version of the plugin should almost certainly be based on the gedit one. There'll be very little (if anything) to merge from the Totem one.
