Description Duncan Lithgow 2011-03-27 12:12:03 UTC
From downstream in Ubuntu Launchpad

Binary package hint: f-spot

Ubuntu 10.10 up to date
F-spot 0.8.0

I have my pictures on a separate ext3 directory which is not mounted at log-in. Because of this, every now and then I try to import pictures from my memory stick while the target directory is not yet mounted. When I do this f-spot just exits without any message - and that must be a bug - every application should say what's going on and try to record the problem before dying.

Comment 2 André Klapper 2018-07-01 08:51:35 UTC
f-spot is not under active development anymore, has not seen code changes for five years, and saw its last tarball release in the year 2010.
Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/f-spot/commits/master

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
