Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

Missing elements that I was asked to add. Please inform me if you need anything else.

I hope I installed the correct software to get the info I was asked to provide.
Please inform me if you need anything more.
Thanks for your time.
Comment 3 Akhil Laddha 2011-04-08 04:21:20 UTC
looks like you haven't installed debuginfo rpms. Please install debuginfo rpms of gtranslator, glib2, gtk+2 and gobject and provide us updated traces, tia.
Comment 4 Akhil Laddha 2011-05-10 05:43:44 UTC
diamond_gr, were you able to collect more decent trace ?
Comment 5 diamond_gr 2011-06-20 22:57:49 UTC
Sorry for the delay. It was my exam period at the university.

Well although I reinstalled openSUSE with Gnome 3, I get the same mistake. I have gtranslator open and after a while it closes.
I added the debug repo and the programs you pointed me.
How can I find the mistakes now? Is it possible to send the results if I run gtraslator via terminal?

Thanks for your help.
Comment 6 diamond_gr 2011-06-26 10:40:09 UTC
maybe you also need valgrind output?
Comment 7 Ignacio Casal Quinteiro (nacho) 2011-06-26 10:46:01 UTC
Sure, it might help

Valgrind output

This is a valgrind output.
I hope I wrote it correctly and got the correct results.
If not, please let me know what is the correct command.
Thanks
Comment 9 Ignacio Casal Quinteiro (nacho) 2011-06-29 14:18:07 UTC
you are missing several debug symbols, pango, gtksourceview etc, could you try to make it after installing them?
Comment 10 diamond_gr 2011-06-29 14:58:48 UTC
Hello again,

I would like to tell you that my profession is veterinarian.
If you want me to do something, can you please be more specific what to do?

The only thing I can do to community is translate.
Comment 11 Ignacio Casal Quinteiro (nacho) 2011-06-29 15:13:42 UTC
Hey, the instructions are here: https://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces
Comment 12 diamond_gr 2011-06-29 15:37:07 UTC
Akhil mentioned that link above. I followed it but it didn't help me.

I searched http://search.opensuse.org for the package.
It gave me the repo:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/Apps/openSUSE_11.4+GNOME_STABLE_3.0

Now I have version 2.90. It seems to work. I get another problem now. I cannot see the words to translate. I get the silver color of Gnome 3 windows.
Comment 13 Ignacio Casal Quinteiro (nacho) 2011-06-29 15:43:22 UTC
weird, try removing the ~/.config/gtranslator dir
Comment 14 diamond_gr 2011-06-29 16:02:03 UTC
This worked. Until now I worked couple of files without problem.
How do I mark it fixed?
Comment 15 Ignacio Casal Quinteiro (nacho) 2011-06-29 16:11:50 UTC
Marking as fixed then. Thanks for reporting.
