GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 645540
Switching among tabs in gnome-terminal increasingly reduces its size
Last modified: 2011-03-31 10:18:55 UTC
gnome-terminal version: 2.33.90. Gtk+ is version 3.0.3, on Debian GNU/Linux sid+experimental 64bit. Steps to reproduce: * open a terminal * create another tab * use the keybinding for switching to next/prev tab continuously Results: * the terminal gets smaller and smaller (also, and incidentally: sometimes it doesn't scroll automatically anymore if you're e.g. compiling something). Expected results: * The terminal maintains its original size. I'm attaching a screen capture of the issue. Happens also in Git master using jhbuild for me. After using a terminal for more than 5 min, I have to manually drag it to its previous size. However, vte is failing to build since a couple of weeks in jhbuild, so I cannot say if it's due to vte.
Created attachment 184088 [details] Screencast of the issue Sorry for the poor quality, but 1MB of attachment limit is really too little, imho. 2MB would be enough for 2011. :-)
