Is this when clicking on a trayicon? If so, it's bug 644363, which is fixed by the patch in bug 630842

Hm.. I think so..? It triggers as you described by clicking on an app tray icon. Which supposedly u mean https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=630842#c13 fix this?
