Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2011-03-18 21:34:47 UTC
GDM used to allow selecting a keyboard layout. Now, with the packages in Fedora 15, it doesn't seem to allow this anymore.

This is a big deal because my family uses different keyboard layouts depending on users, and they need to be able to actually enter their credentials to log in to the computer.

Another use case for this is the fact that Fedora doesn't allow installing with all the keyboard layouts available in gnome; thus, GDM defaults to the US English (or something else) keyboard: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=668084
