Description Bill Nottingham 2011-03-16 21:31:42 UTC
Say I auto-tile a window to half of the screen (terminal, chat, whatever).

It now becomes much trickier to move that window from one side of the screen to the other, as any deviation 'up' while dragging will maximize it.

Would it resolve your problem if we made the corners of the screen side-tiling rather than top-tiling?h

Make entire side of screen edge-tiling not maximization

If dragging the title bar to the edge of the screen to side-tile,
it's easy to end up above the workarea and end up maximized instead.
Make the entire side of the screen act as edge-tiling.

Yes, that sounds fine.
