Description Edward Hervey 2011-03-16 13:43:04 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #644233 +++

In the same way we should be able to configure h264 encoders' profile/level via the caps, we should be able to do the same thing for mpeg2 video.

A list of profile/levels can be found here : https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/H.262/MPEG-2_Part_2#Video_profiles_and_levels

About which element are you talking here? There is no mpeg2 encoder in ugly, only a decoder. And encoder in bad and libav.
Comment 2 Edward Hervey 2013-08-20 13:43:10 UTC
I guess I meant bad.
Comment 3 Edward Hervey 2018-05-04 11:58:45 UTC
Would still be good .... if we don't kill mpeg2enc before that.
