Ubuntu 10.10 HARDWARE MODEL (on what HW this bug is uncovered): =========================================================== 1.Ecomo Jetway Processor -> Genuine Intel(R) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz Screen -> geometry 216x127 (using xdpyinfo and ruler) 2.Samsung NP-N150-JA03UK Processor -> Intel(R) ATOM(TM) CPU N450 @ 1.66GHz Screen -> geometry 216x127 (using xdpyinfo and ruler) BUG DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS =========================================================== File Management Preferences window in nautilus is oversized and overshoots the screen's bottom limit. EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: (Explain in detail what you do (e.g. tap on OK) and what you see (e.g. message Connection Failed appears)) =========================================================== 1. Open nautilus from devices pane(open Documents folder) 2. Click on Edit->Preferences 3. This will open 'File Management Preferences' window 4. 5. EXPECTED OUTCOME: =================== File Management Prefrences window should be able to resize itself to the screen size. ACTUAL OUTCOME: =================== File Management Preferences window is oversized and overshoots the screen from bottom end. USER IMPACT: =================== File Management Preferences window is unusable. REPRODUCIBILITY: (always, less than 1/10, 5/10, 9/10) ===================================== always EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: ============================ none, this bug is reproducible in original distros of MeeGo and Ubuntu.
