GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 644870
[PATCH] Enabling standard ligatures feature in Cantarell
Last modified: 2012-10-08 12:15:48 UTC
Created attachment 183484 [details] [review] Patch to enable standard ligatures feature in Cantarell Pango, used by GTK, supports OpenType features such as standards ligatures (that is to say automatic replacement of "fi" for exemple to the corresponding ligature, and the same for "ff", "fl", "ffi" and "ffl"). DejaVu fonts (serif and sans families) have this feature activated by default, as well many professional fonts. The attached patch will enable this feature for Cantarell Regular and Bold. It was generated using FontForge on the latest verson of the fonts.
Typo fixed in the attached patch
