Description Elad Alfassa 2011-03-12 11:10:27 UTC
gnome-terminal 2.33.90

When I set background transparency, it doesn't work in gnome-shell normally, but it does work in overview mode.
Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2011-03-12 14:23:53 UTC
It actually works, technically. But all you get when you look through the terminal window is a view of the black shadow that the shell puts around and behind it :-(
Comment 2 Elad Alfassa 2011-03-12 14:27:57 UTC
So it's a bug in the shell.
Compiz also does window shadows, but only around the window, not behind it. The shell should do the same thing.
