Description Severo Raz 2011-03-11 05:14:35 UTC
Currently, all the notes one has appear on the application indicator, in Ubuntu.
Users that use tomboy a lot, might find this annoying, as their menu gets cluttered up.

To avoid this negative application behavior, one should be able to toggle whether a note should appear in the indicator menu (say, quick access) or not.
Comment 1 Sandy Armstrong 2011-03-11 14:08:47 UTC
Not interested in over-complicating the note menu. This sort of thing could be done as a third-party add-in, though it might require new API in Tomboy itself (patches welcome).

Closing this bug as WONTFIX.

Also, just FYI when filing bugs here, the app indicator is an Ubuntu patch that is not in upstream Tomboy. Your request here applies to the menu in general, so it does make sense for GNOME bugzilla, but any other app indicator specific bugs you run across should go to Launchpad.

Thanks!
