Description Matthias Clasen 2011-03-10 21:53:48 UTC
The + button should bring up some dialog that lets you create a new connection.
Since we won't have time to duplicate the bulk of nm-connection-editor, the compromise proposal is to just make it launch nm-connection-editor, perhaps with a 'create' mode that instead of showing the tabs0-with-lists' presents a dialog that lets you choose the connection type to create and then goes to the type-specific create dialog.

The - button should also come back, and allow to remove manually created connections from the list. We don't want to allow removing the default connection of a device (eg 'System eth0'), but if you manually create a second eth0 connection, it should show up in the list and be deletable. Similar for VPN connections.

We should also implement the option buttons that are in the design, and make them bring up nm-connection-editor to edit an existing connection. I've added the buttons now, still hidden.

Option buttons have been added and minimally wired up. + buttons have been brought back, and also minimally wired up.

Next steps:
- Show newly created connections in the device/connection list
- Let the - button remove them again

I think we're good here now.
