Description Vitezslav Humpa 2011-03-10 18:22:17 UTC
On dual-display configuration, Laptop + External monitor, if the external monitor is set to be the main screen (with panel), a broken popup appears on alt-tab. Screenshot should help explain.

Also the laptop display is the one "left", and the popup does not appear in the middle of the external display, so there could be a misplacement of some graphics. This is just a guess though.

Single screen, or with laptop being main, there is no problem.

gnome-shell version: 2.91.91

What's your graphics hardware?
Comment 4 Vitezslav Humpa 2011-03-14 12:02:17 UTC
It's Intel GMA HD Integrated Graphics.

Here is my complete HW profile http://www.smolts.org/client/show/pub_a64408ed-c828-4305-95f5-bfbae42dce11

Maybe this is bug 644206 which was fixed after 2.91.91?

See also the Fedora bug report,
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=644419

with nVidia Quadro NVS 290:
http://www.smolts.org/client/show/pub_04eb447a-d09f-4dc4-9b4a-3b7dd87db43c

That commit looks reasonable, I'll try rebuilding with it applied and see if that helps.
Comment 7 Michel Alexandre Salim 2011-03-16 17:37:55 UTC
Tested the patch, and yes, I can confirm that it fixes the issue. When will 2.91.92 be released? If it's not imminent (e.g. by this weekend) I'll probably build an official Fedora update for this
