Description Simon Shine 2011-03-10 12:43:23 UTC
In Baobab (2.30.0-0ubuntu1), when pressing "Scan Home" and before the scan has completed, when trying to order the partial results into descending (by any of the options Folder, Usage, Size, Contents), the program crashes with the following assertion error:

Gtk:ERROR:/build/buildd/gtk+2.0-2.20.1/gtk/gtktreeview.c:6290:do_validate_rows: code should not be reached

The error can be systematically replicated if I start the program and click the sort button for a while when it is still scanning my homedir.

I think it's really up to the baobab developers to produce a GTK+ test case for this.
Comment 2 Fabio Marzocca 2011-10-11 17:24:11 UTC
I have just checked this on current release (2.32.0-0ubuntu5) and it doesn't happen. I can change the order of any column during scanning.
Comment 3 Paolo Borelli 2012-07-31 10:52:24 UTC
I cannot reproduce and it was not reported with newer versions, so I guess it was fixed either in baobab itself or in gtk
