Description Marcus Moeller 2011-03-08 17:37:01 UTC
Opening the context menu within the Applications menu, let's the menu stuck (no longer able to open it, until restart of the component).

Steps to re-produce:

Open Applications menu, open a submenu, e.g. Internet / right click on an
application icon.

Try to open the Applications menu again.

just a side node: drag and drop'ing an icon from the menu to the panel works fine.

I've removed this feature for GNOME 3; this was always a bad hack with GTK+, and GTK+ 3 makes this really too hard to be worth it now. This also makes the menu behave like all other menus.
