GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 644130
App icon with highres variant
Last modified: 2019-02-23 02:52:30 UTC
Created attachment 182722 [details] xchat-gnome app icon in all resolutions. As GNOME 3 exposes application icons in high resolution, we took the liberty to create a launcher icon for xchat-gnome. The included SVG is not meant to be installed, it's only included as a 'source' of the artwork.
The embeded licence on the source .svg says "LGPL", but there's no information how you turned the source into the various .png files. Is that an automated process? If so, the script or programme to do that would need to be included as well.
Created attachment 182725 [details] script to chop up the SVG into PNGs using inkscape I hope you don't need inkscape to be included too ;)

xchat-gnome is not under active development anymore. Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/xchat-gnome/commits/master Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather reactivate the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. You may want to switch to Hexchat (or another IRC client that suits you).
