GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 644022
GIMP crashes when trying to use the text tool
Last modified: 2011-03-20 18:36:18 UTC
Created attachment 182608 [details] Screen shot of error message When attempting to use the Create text layer on an image, GIMP crashes with the error messages shown in the attached jpeg and gives the problem signature listed below. This began just after installing Windows 7 Service pack 1 on both my 64 bit and 32 bit machines. It is an issue in both single-window and non single window modes. This is not an issue with GIMP 2.6.11 nor was it an issue prior to upgrading to Service Pack 1. Re-installing GIMP 2.7.1 does not work. Also, for what it’s worth, once the Single-window mode is selected it remains selected (checked) even when it is not applied (ie not selected). When deselected and then reselected it enters the single-window mode Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: gimp-2.7.exe Application Version: 2.7.1.0 Application Timestamp: 4c29b579 Fault Module Name: libglib-2.0-0.dll Fault Module Version: 2.24.1.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 4c07b57b Exception Code: 40000015 Exception Offset: 000000000004c72a OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: feee Additional Information 2: feeea1a2952438b9425f58ab127c2245 Additional Information 3: 7cd3 Additional Information 4: 7cd3d360c5fa84e4d2219fa1286f86dc Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288&clcid=0x0409 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt
