When marks are present

(even with gtk_widget_set_valign (..., GTK_ALIGN_START) it doesn't look right)

That might not be required if we had better sliders that were allowed to point to the marks done on GtkScales.

Closing, the work in bug 643685 is of more interest UI wise.
