Description Phillip Susi 2011-02-27 20:17:02 UTC
nm-applet seems to read the connected ethernet speed at startup and never again. If I limit my port speed to 10 mbps with ethtool, nm-applet continues to report 100 mbps. Unplugging and replugging the ethernet cable does not help. Restarting nm-applet seems to be the only way to get it to update. Increasing the speed back to 100 mbps also requires restarting for the applet to report it correctly.

If the speed changes, the applet should update.

This no longer happens with 0.9.4 so it seems to have been fixed.
