>How-To-Repeat:
When I login to gnome X-windows with root, the error pop up and prompt me to visit the Gnome Application crash page for more information.

Please try the latest (1.4.x) version of gnome-core and gnome-libs
from http://download.gnome.org/ Contact me if you need RPMS.
