GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 643132
workspace switch on final window close makes start/stop of app have side effects
Last modified: 2011-02-23 22:10:34 UTC
Consider the following: 1) switch to the empty workspace 2) start an app (which spawns a new empty workspace as a side effect) 3) close the app You're now switched to the prior workspace. I find it more logical for you to end up back on the empty workspace. gnome-shell-2.91.90-2.fc15.x86_64
Bug 642188 has a patch that does exactly that. (And opens the overview after doing that, which is debatable but the move to the empty workspace makes sense imo). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 642188 ***
