GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 643037
Size of wastebasket should be displayed in the context menu
Last modified: 2011-02-23 15:18:41 UTC
Originally reported at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+2.0/+bug/721381 I think should be useful to have in the button "Empty trash" the indication about how many megabyte or gigabyte i would free, emptying the trash.. something like: [ Empty Trash (250 MB) ] or maybe adding a phrase in the text like: "Emptying the trash you would free 250 MB from your disk." In this way the user knows if he just need to empty the trash bin or if he need to find another solution.
What context menu is this supposed to be? GtkFileChooser hasn't got a waste icon and consequently no context menu either. You should file this against whatever application that contains it.
