I had some problems with my files in my home directory - no i can't open banshee anymore. i think i crashed something with the database...

how can i reset banshee, or even restore the database...?

or what shall i do?

Thanks for the report.  This kind of database problem usually happens as the result of a crash or a sudden loss of power to your system.  Luckily, recovering from it is usually pretty straightforward.  There are instructions at the bottom of this page: http://banshee.fm/support/faq/

Really, this recovery process should be automated, so I'm marking this as a duplicate of Bug 621057.  Thanks again for the report, and let us know if you have any other problems.
