Last modified: 2013-08-03 15:54:39 UTC
Created attachment 181137 [details] Inconsistent translations for "Shut down" in power manager and shutdown dialogs The translations used for Shut down are inconsistent in the Power Management Preferences dialog and the Shut down computer dialog. http://l10n.gnome.org/POT/gnome-session.gnome-2-32/gnome-session.gnome-2-32.nl.po msgid "_Shut Down" msgstr "_Uitzetten" http://l10n.gnome.org/POT/gnome-power-manager.gnome-2-32/gnome-power-manager.gnome-2-32.nl.po msgid "Shutdown" msgstr "Afsluiten" See attached image.
The translations may be inconsistent, but in this context it's clear and I think we should keep it this way. 'Uitzetten' conveys more clearly that the system will be turned off after shutdown than just 'Afsluiten'.
In current Gnome, 'uitschakelen' is used everywhere I can see. Closing this as OBSOLETE.
