GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 642425
Evolution Preferences Window Is Too High For Screen and Cannot Be Re-sized.
Last modified: 2011-02-16 00:16:38 UTC
Created attachment 180951 [details] Screenshot showing Evolution Preferences Window Not Fitting Screen Evolution Preferences Window Is Too High For Screen and Cannot Be Re-sized. The screen size was 1366x768. As the bottom of the preferences screen was not visible, and the window had no scroll bars, it was not possible to get to items at the bottom of the screen. I could not seem to re-size the preferences windows, or move the preferences window off the top of the screen to get at the hidden part at the bottom. I would expect the preference window to fit the screen, be re-sizable, or have scroll bars. I will attach a screenshot of this. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.10 Release: 10.10 $ apt-cache policy evolution evolution: Installed: 2.30.3-1ubuntu7.3 Candidate: 2.30.3-1ubuntu7.3 Version table: *** 2.30.3-1ubuntu7.3 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick-updates/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.30.3-1ubuntu6 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: evolution 2.30.3-1ubuntu7.3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-25.44-generic-pae 2.6.35.10 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-25-generic-pae i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Feb 11 22:55:30 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_GB.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evolution
