I gets this from terminal,and vlc only plays sound.
the file is a .mov one and i could play it 2 weeks ago.
Same problem on similar .mov files
I use Debian Squeeze

This is a debian packaging issue. The version of libavcodec you have installed is not compatible with the version of gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg you have installed. You are probably using libavcodec from debian-multimedia or so. You could try upgrading to gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg from experimental.

Thanks a lot.
I removed the version from the multimedia repository and installed the libavcodec from the main and everything works like charm:)
