Description Martyn Russell 2011-02-10 09:14:33 UTC
Currently the dbus call to get the status instantiates the processes. If they're not already running, we should avoid this!

Oh, was it like that with tracker-status, or did I fuck it up when merging tracker-status and tracker-control?

To be honest :) I don't remember.

I do remember it being a problem before, but I don't remember if we fixed it at some point. We may have just fixed it for tracker-store with it's status checking.

Fix for this already in git master.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
