Description Pander 2011-02-04 09:31:55 UTC
Please provide more information when encoding problem arises when saving a file.

The current error message is:

Could not save the file /home/XXX/YYY using the Western (ISO-8859-15) character encoding.

The document contains one or more characters that cannot be encoded using the specified character encoding.
Select a different character encoding from the menu and try again.

Please add:

The first character encountered is:
  á in ISO-8859-15
  á in UTF-8

It is important to display the character in all encodings that are offered to choose from in the combobox/pulldown menu.

Implementing this will help people fix encoding problems more easily.
