GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 641292
Word wrap the key labels
Last modified: 2015-02-22 12:23:14 UTC
Created attachment 179924 [details] screenshot There needs to be word wrapping on labels so that the dialog doesn't (incorrectly) expand. The attached screenshot makes it obvious why :) currently, you cannot use dconf-editor unless you have a screen with a very high resolution.
Actually, not only the "description" label is affected, the "default" (default key value) label is as well, and the "summary" label probably is too. So we might as well set the word-wrap property on all the labels to be safe.
Confirmed!
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
The same problem, with long default values instead of long descriptions, is still present in 0.7.5. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/d-conf/+bug/715002
