Screen shot of appointment window with gtk3

evolution 2.91.6
gtk+ master
glib master

When i maximize appointment or meeting window or even edit -> preference window, combo box and buttons look ugly. I have attached screen shots of appointment window with gtk3 as well gtk2. The difference can be seen easily.

For appointment editing windows:
Created commit 0478e01 in evo master (2.91.90+)

With preferences window it's harder, I tried to do something with it earlier, but with not much luck.

We should reduce the size of Menu -> Help -> About dialog and query dialog when performing Empty trash.
Comment 4 Milan Crha 2011-02-15 18:40:36 UTC
Help->About uses builtin gtk_show_about_dialog() function, nothing we can influence directly (I filled bug #642400 for them).

With the Empty Trash, I tried to make it slightly nicer in commit 23e3079 (2.91.90+), but it's still not that great. Thus I filled a gtk3 bug #642406

I would call these kind of stuff as regressions from gtk2 (or one can tell that "default behaviour changed, but looking more deeply on it it seems to me it's not only about default values for fill and expand on containers/boxes).

Akhil, do you think this one should be kept opened?

We can close the bug.
